From Headmaster Mr Keith Richardson’s Magazine report:
… Sometimes cynics remark that education is too important to be left in the hands of teachers. I know that our teachers realise that the core of education in this 21st century lies in two words – curiosity and understanding.
With OBE [Outcome Based Education] looming on the horizon next year, no longer is it possible for teachers to say that they know all the answers and all the pupil has to do is memorise them. In school, in life, everything has to start with curiosity. If you don’t ask questions, you won’t get answers – whether that is from yourself or anyone else. Not all problems on this planet have been defined, let alone solved. It is our task, as teachers and parents, to encourage our children to enquire about issues …
