Friday 26 February 2021: Circular 10 – Grade 8 Dates & Information to Diarise
1. Information Evenings for Grade 8 Parents & Boys: You are invited to attend our first Grade 8 Parent Information Evening of 2021. These meetings are compulsory for the boys, but parents are strongly encouraged to attend as well.
2. Under 14 Athletics Trials: We will hold U14 Athletics trials next week to help the houses select their athletics teams for Sports Day scheduled to take place on 10 March. These trials take preference over other extra-mural activities.
3. Grade 8 Obstacle Course and Blazer Ceremony: Grade 8s traditionally earn their blazers by completing a challenging hike with their Matric buddy, an important tradition at the school and one of the ‘rites of passage’ of every Wynberg boy.
4. The South African Maths Olympiad: All Grade 8s will write the first round of the SAMO during the test period on Thursday 11 March.
