Wynberg Service Christmas Challenge

Tuesday 1 November 2022: The WBHS Service committee takes great pleasure in launching the Christmas Challenge, a drive to collect gifts to brighten the festive season for those less fortunate. All grades, and our broader Wynberg Community, are encouraged to donate items to make up gift parcels to be distributed to charities during December. Please also assist by donating shoe boxes to the cause – wrapping paper and willing hands to help at our ‘Christmas Wrap’ evening at the Bill Bowden Pavilion will also be welcomed!

As always, our service appeal is open to all: friends, neighbours, Old Boys, and families – for those unable to drop gift items at School, we’ve linked with the Santa Shoebox Project again this year which provides the option to make a financial donation or purchase a ‘virtual shoebox’ to provide essential items and treats for underprivileged children throughout South Africa and Namibia.

Those who’d like to donate money toward the Challenge are welcome to use the SnapScan code – our Service team will then purchase items to add to the gifts.
