Wednesday 15 February 23: WBHS athletes attended the first Zonal meeting of the year, held at Green Point Stadium. WBHS claimed 5 third places, 10 second places, and 7 first places, with 31 athletes progressing to the next round. Wynberg Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools were combined as a team and took second place overall.
Special mention to Liam Reed and Ethan Thomas who each secured 1st place in two of their events. Also a big thanks to Mr Stefan Potgieter for all the arrangements.
