Wednesday 20 April 2022: Circular 21 – Mid-Year Assessments Grades 9 to 12
As was the case in 2020 and 2021, the Department of Basic Education (DBE) issued guidelines regarding the academic recovery plan to catch up on work missed during the pandemic. Part of that guidance was the instruction that schools cancel exams. We have again been instructed that no examinations take place in 2022.
We are duly complying and will instead be running a period of mid-year assessments from 23 May until 15 June …
