Tuesday 30 March 2021: Circular 15 – Grade 8 Whatsapp Broadcast Trial.
In our efforts towards improving communication, we would like to trial a one-way (Broadcast Only) Whatsapp Group, per grade. This will initially be trialled with our Grade 8 parent body and if successful will be replicated in grades 9 – 12.
Our motivation is to:
Be able to communicate time-sensitive information or changes quickly with parents.
Possibly avoid lengthy and formal circulars for something small, yet important.
Have something to replace the traditional SMS for emergencies.
