Wednesday 1 December 2021: Please join us online from 18h00 for the online premiere of the #Wynberg180 Nussbaum Concert. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the concert held for the official opening of the Nussbaum Auditorium in the Alf Morris Music Centre on 23 August 2006. The auditorium and seven new music classrooms were made possible by a generous donation from the estate of 1940 Wynberg Old Boy, Rolf-Stephan Nussbaum.
Head of WBHS Music, Mr Richard Haigh, writes:
Normally held during Wynberg Heritage Week, the Nussbaum Concert celebrates the work of our ensembles, as well as the top performers at the school. A wide variety of music across genres will be heard, culminating in a wonderful performance of Ron Gill’s arrangement “McCartney Medley” featuring a choral collaboration between the choirs of Springfield Convent, Wynberg Girls’ and Boys’ High Schools. Thank you to Dylan Edwards for editing the wide variety of footage filmed over a number of months.
