Friday 7 October 2021: The Wynberg Campus of Schools is deeply shocked to learn of the fatal shooting of two individuals over the weekend of 2 October. On behalf of the Wynberg Campus of Schools community, we offer our sincere condolences and support to the family and friends of the deceased.
A campus administrative employee for all four schools has been arrested in relation to the incident. As an employee of our schools, we have offered our support to the employee and his family.
As the judicial process unfolds, we encourage each of us to exercise compassion and respect for all those affected by this tragic incident. It is important that the judicial process is respected and that those affected are supported.
While our schools are closed for the October break, any members of the Wynberg Campus of Schools community in need of counselling or debriefing are encouraged to contact our counselling departments.
