Friday 24 September 2021: WBHS takes pleasure in sharing the initiative of bringing together our 1st XV and a Cricket School of Excellence invitation U19 side in a Heritage Day match on our Jacques Kallis Oval.
Sport in the best traditions of our Wynberg ethos of “sportsmanship, rivalry, and friendship” remains one of the finest vehicles for social cohesion, uniting all players to a common purpose. Wynberg Boys’ Junior School Headmaster, recently wrote:
As a country, we have progressed remarkably in recognising the value of difference and that understanding the heritage of others makes for a richer experience for us all. As a school, we are proud of being dynamic in this regard and acknowledge that we are on a journey that requires constant reflection.
