Ryan Weidemann Director of Water Polo at Wynberg Boys’ High School and proudly the newly appointed Swimming South Africa, SA National Water Polo Head Coach. As Head Coach, Ryan will be responsible for the activities and performance of Swimming South Africa’s (SSA) National Water Polo Teams and Squads, with the objective of delivering international performances that support the SSA High-Performance Strategy.
Ryan carries 22 years of coaching experience under his belt. While having played and coached national water polo in South Africa, Ryan has been fortunate to travel worldwide and interact with some of the best coaches. This has given him many opportunities to learn from the best water polo programmes and share this knowledge with the players he coaches. We are immensely proud to have Ryan on our staff to impart his expertise to our boys at Wynberg Boys’ High School.
