Wednesday 26 February will signal a historic moment in the history of Wynberg Boys’ High when we participate for the first time in an annual athletics meeting against our three traditional southern suburb boys’ school rivals.
The Triangular Athletics meeting between Bishops, SACS and Rondebosch has been held annually since 1934. Originally, Wynberg were invited to be a part of this event but for reasons unknown declined the invitation. We soon realised our mistake and since then, all attempts to get us admitted to the event have been unsuccessful. Finally, last year, Bishops, Rondebosch and SACS agreed to include Wynberg Boys’ High and change the event from a Triangular to a Quadrangular Athletics meeting.
In 2020 the event will be hosted by Bishops on their Lutgensvale Field, and all Wynberg families and Old Boys are invited to attend and support our school as we go ” All-in for Wynberg”. The event commences at 14h00 and is expected to end by 18h00. Parking will be available on the Bishops’ Sahara Field. Please note the order of events below.
